It all begins in 1834 with José Gregorio Correa Albano, who bought the first land in the Los Maitenes area of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua. His son Salvador Correa Ovalle continued to expand farming in the area with vineyards, crops and livestock, and went on to become the town's mayor. Nicolás Correa Larraín carried on the family winemaking tradition with his own brand, "los 14 Hermanos", and sent one of his sons, Santiago, to study oenology in Mendoza, Argentina. On his return from Argentina, Santiago Correa Muzard devoted the farming business to wine, bought land in the Colchagua and Maule valleys in addition to Cachapoal, and built a new winery that today has a capacity of 5 million litres. Today the fifth generation, Santiago and José Tomás Correa Lisoni, both agronomists, leads the project: they started the first direct exports of bulk wine to China and Europe, and in 2017 built new bottling facilities, having begun exporting bottled wine to China, Brazil, the United States and Ireland in 2014.
