Some grapes are made for altitude, and Tannat is one of them. At 1700 meters in Cafayate, the plant suffers just enough to concentrate everything it has inside: color, body, character. The daytime sun is strong, almost otherworldly, and the night falls suddenly cold—that battle between heat and cold is what tempers this thick-skinned grape with generous tannins.
The rocky soil of the valley offers no respite, which is why the bunches grow small but intense. In the glass, it shows a deep red, almost violet at the edges, with aromas of black cherry, ripe blackberry, and a subtle hint of eucalyptus reminiscent of the Salta bushland.
It is patiently aged for 18 months in small concrete vessels, allowing time to do its work, and the result is a wine of great volume, fleshy, with tannins that are initially noticeable but round out with time in the glass. The finish is long, harmonious, with that lively acidity that gives it freshness despite its power. A strong-character red, for those seeking something different from the usual Malbec.

How do you protect the bottles during shipping?
Every order is shipped in reinforced cardboard boxes specially designed for wine bottles and sized to the number of bottles, so they arrive in perfect condition.
What if a bottle arrives broken or damaged?
Check your parcel on delivery. If a bottle is broken or the parcel is damaged, email us within 48 hours at contact@intisur-commerce.com with photos of the parcel and its contents. We'll send a replacement or refund the affected bottles at no cost to you.
Can I return my order?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason. Bottles must be returned unopened and in good condition, and return shipping costs are paid by you. We refund you within 14 days at the latest. See all the details in our Refund Policy.
Do I have to be of legal age to order?
Yes. The sale of alcohol to anyone under 18 is prohibited. By ordering, you confirm you are at least 18, and the carrier may ask for ID on delivery.
